Saturday 12 July, 12:00-23:00

The 12th of July, Utrecht’s streetculture scene unites at the infamous Jaarbeursplein for “Off the Tracks”, a big festival where the city shows and celebrates her rawer sides. Ofcourse Freedom City is present here, at the spot of huge importance to Utrecht’s freestyle dance community. For more than 10 years now, dancers have been coming to the square, just beneath the big stairs, to sharpen their skills, jam, battle and exchange together. 

Freedom City brings you dance battles and live music performances on the big stage. Line up TBA!

The Notorious IBE

3vs3 Open Styles battle

The Notorious IBE is one of the most legendary events in the freestyle dance scene. What started as a Breaking jam in a basement in Rotterdam, has grown to a 3-day international festival with visitors from more than 60 countries, and different dance styles being represented and connected together.

Freedom City has been part of The Notorious IBE since 2019. We’re back again this year with a 3vs3 Open Styles battle. We’re also giving the Krump community and culture a place at IBE by bringing the best Krump music and exhibition battles!

Only water can be brought into the venue, all other drinks and food can be bought at the bar. There will be a break for everyone to get food before the evening programs start.

Parking is expensive in Utrecht. See prettigparkeren.nl for a full map of free parking places in Utrecht. We advise everyone to come by bike or public transport for convenience and the environment.

  • Weekend passes (Gold & Silver): you can contact us anytime for a free refund until 1 month before the event.
  • Single tickets: you can contact us within 48 hours of your purchase for a free refund. We refund until 1 month before the event.

Important: we refund only the actual ticket price, we don’t refund the service costs of the ticketing system (€1-€1,50 per ticket)
